Gore's Commited to Environment (Not Clinton or Obama)

Despite much uncertainty in the Democratic nomination contest, one thing's for sure: Al Gore's top loyalty still lies with the environment, not with Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama.

Ms. Stahl: What about the idea of the honest broker who goes to the two candidates and helps push one or the other of them?

Mr. Gore: (Laughs.) Kind of a modern Boss Tweed?

Ms. Stahl: Except his name would be Al Gore.

Mr. Gore: (Laughs.) Well, I'm not, I'm not applying for the job of broker.
